Gwendolyn Wilkins grew up in Greene, NY with her two brothers, under the care of two (fortunately very open-minded) parents. We always had a delightfully shifting menagerie of cats, dogs, gerbils and even once a dove and - much later - a ferret. After graduating high school she took a two week hiatus before becoming a student at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Two and a half years of education got her an Associate Degree in Computer Animation (Two of those years were really fun, that last half year wasn't as much fun). Nearly one year after graduating college she managed to get a job with Lockheed Martin as a graphic artist up in Ballston Spa, NY (yes, that's really the name of the town!), where she lives happily with her two cats: Yoda and Spot - the Star Wars/Star Trek connection is purely coincidental.

Her current hobbies (other than contemplating Kiuses) are: reading whatever is in arm's reach, writing (when the mood and inspiration strikes), playing World of Warcraft, working on various crafting projects and pursuing her spiritual practice - which lately involves a fair amount of Tai Chi and yoga.

She's currently studying to become a doula through and organization called DONA.
